Barry Douglas Concert History

Barry Douglas (1960-) won the Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition in 1986, the first non-Russian pianist to do so since Van Cliburn. Barry Douglas received the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2002 New Year's Honours List for services to music. He also received a Fellowship of the Royal College of Music where he is Prince Consort Professor of Piano and an Hon. Doctorate of Music from Queens University Belfast.
