The music of BvD's is rooted in the ska and rocksteady of the 50's and 60's, but naturally with lyrics that contemplates the society we live in and the problems and injustices of a world gone over the edge. There's a good portion of social concern in the lyrics and in short it's a celebration of the good in man and an attack on the bad.
