AXIDENT AVENUE were created late in 2006, when Violet's (Vox) and Valentine's (Bass) band went belly-up. They both had been wanting to start a sleazerock/glam-metal band for quite some time and they started looking for a new line-up. Ricky Holmes, a mind-blowingly good guitarplayer (and drinkingbuddy) joined the band a few weeks later. After playing with some different drummers, when none of them really worked out, Ricky introduced the guys to a good friend of his, Lucky DeVille.
