Avocet's 2008 Concert History

Avocet is a Scottish neo-folk duo based in Glasgow comprising Iona Zajac (harp/vocals) and Sam Grassie (guitar). With their name taken from Bert Jansch's 1979 album "Avocet", and initially a trio (with double bassist Herbie Loening), they released their debut single, ‘Causeway’, in January 2018. Their debut album, "Lend Your Garden", released in 2020, features Guillermo Martín-Viana on percussion, flautist Tenzin Stephen, Ignacio Santoro contributing on double bass, and saxophonist Duncan Mark-Horne.
