Auntie Christ Concert History

Auntie Christ is a late-1990's punk band, containing vocalist/guitarist Exene Cervenka & drummer DJ Bonebrake (both of seminal LA punk band X) plus bass player Matt Freeman. They released only one LP, 1997's Life Could Be A Dream on Lookout!. Though the indepedent label is known for pop punk bands, Auntie Christ was in the tradition of pure, snide, unbridled 77 punk. In the years after Auntie Christ, Exene would go on to front the heavier, hi-fi, cowpunk-influenced Original Sinners.
