The delicate balance of booming piano keys and swirling guitars is what gives Denver’s darlings, ASHTREE, such a unique sound. “Rescue The Light” is a battle cry for the quintet, they want the world and they want it now.The album starts with a bold plea for a year without January, and living in Colorado, you can understand the sentiment. Undeniably catchy tracks like “I’m Sure” and “Pretender” guarantee the world isn’t too far off.
