Ashton Irwin (born July 7, 1994, in Hornsby, Australia) is a 30 year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is most well-known as the drummer of the pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer since 2011. He has also written songs for other artists including Andy Black, Makeout, The Faim, and ONE OK ROCK. In 2020, he also emerged as a solo artist. That year, he released the singles "Skinny Skinny," "Have U Found What Ur Looking For," Scar," and a cover of Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" and his debut studio album "Superbloom.
