Ashley began playing guitar not quite 6 years ago, the same year she got married. She started writing her own songs then, because it was easier to her than learning how to play someone else's songs. She hasn't stopped since! Never sure how to describe her musical style when people ask so she usually just lists off people who she can look up to as musicians, and some of those people would be....Jewel, Neil Young, Patty Griffin, Eva Cassidy, Shawn Colvin...
