Taking inspiration from bands like Motionless In White, Asking Alexandria, Bring Me The Horizon, and more, Ashes At Last started as Niko Remo's solo project in 2022 during senior year. The first song released, titled "Blind", was made in Niko's bedroom from start to finish, along with the first EP from 2023 titled "You Can't Stop The Sunset".
