Unclassifiable, their work blends modern, complicated, pulsating drum beats with classically influenced piano that also recalls jazz, and occasionally ragtime. While not quite fitting into the categories of Post-Metal/Rock, or Dark Jazz, their unique combination allows Architeuthis to exist outside the confined genres of popular music...
