Andy Scott (born 30 June 1949, Wrexham, Wales) is a rock musician best known as the guitarist of Sweet. In the early '80s, Andy Scott released several singles as a solo artist, and in 1993, the album "30 Years" - a compilation of all his solo projects - was released. In the mid '80s, Andy Scott reformed The Sweet together with bandmate Mick Tucker. In the '90s the name was briefly changed to Andy Scott's Sweet before changing it back to Sweet. Scott is still touring and writing new material with Sweet as of 2021.
