Who is Ancestral Warship? The answer is not as straight forward as you may think. Like many bands containing creative, musically driven people, Ancestral Warship does not adhere to any one genre or influence. Instead, they create a blend of different genres resembling funk, hip hop, soul, and rock-- using a wildly diverse list of influences ranging from Tchaikovsky all the way to The Black Keys. In the band’s own words, they fill a void in music that has long been missing.
