In the remaining months of their final year of high school, friends John Blomster (Fixed, Paperstrapredux) and Daniel Paez (Animal Funk, Streetlight Romance) started playing music together with their acccomplice Thomas Beale in the band Sera Gloria (Spring 2006- Summer 2006). With Beale on guitar, Paez on drums, and Blomster on dual keyboards, Sera Gloria performed ambient post rock influenced by the likes of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Sigur Ros, and A Silver Mt.
