Shane Ouellette and Andrew zakher started playing music together when they were in high school and formed Almost Normal in late 2001. The band was searching for a new direction at the same time Ashley Lampman posted an ad in the Myspace classifieds, looking to join a band. On July 6,2007, they all met up at Ashley’s house that same night, and talked about everything, from their favorite bands to stupid YouTube videos like “shoes”. They met up once again two days later and worked on a song Ashley started making prior.
