On Sept 1st, 2001 Charles A. Blake became Alcyon. While holding the body of a close friend after a motorcycle accident, Alcyon felt his friend's spirit detach from the physical body leaving behind an expired "vessel" and a group of kids struggling to make sense of such a tragic loss.
