Alcian is a four-piece instrumental rock band from New York City. Founding member Ian (guitar) has kept the band together through many incarnations before the band solidified into its current incarnation with the addition of Jason on guitar, Mateus on bass, and Yee-Ning on drums. With this line up the band has written new material not included on a demo released in early 2012 and has began performing live in the fall of 2012.
