Adrian Belew & The Bears's 1988 Concert History

The Bears formed in 1985 following the breakup of Cincinnati-based band the Raisins. Adrian Belew, most well known for his solo career and his work with Frank Zappa, David Bowie, King Crimson, and Talking Heads, was a friend and joined the mix shortly after finishing a stint with King Crimson. They released two albums in the late 80's and toured for several years, but due to poor record sales the band folded in 1989. In 1991, they reformed without Belew under the name psychodots and released 3 albums but never secured a record deal.
