Allah Rakha Rahman (Tamil: அல்லா ரக்கா ரஹ்மான்; known professionally as A.R. Rahman; Tamil: ஏ. ஆர். ரகுமான், born 6 January 1966 in Chennai, India as A. S. Dileep Kumar) is an Indian film composer, record producer, musician, singer and philanthropist. Described as the world's most prominent and prolific film composer by Time, his works are notable for integrating eastern classical music with electronic music sounds, world music genres and traditional orchestral arrangements.
