Hailing from Greater Boston, A Fathom Farewell’s brand of post-hardcore brings a different angle to a well-tread genre, fusing modern metalcore with influences ranging from traditional Armenian music, stoner metal, and pop-punk. In 2013, founding member and lead guitarist Barkev Chaghlasian recruited vocalist Alex Cohen and drummer Rob Kogut into the group. After establishing a fanbase in Worcester, MA, they played shows throughout New England, performing with both national and local acts.
