A City Apart Concert History
A City Apart is the brainchild of lead singer and guitarist Chris Kmak, who founded the band in 2010 as a solo artist. Chris’s passion for music shines through all of his lyrics and melodies, spinning stories that transport listeners and evoke the universal themes that tie us all together. With the addition of drummer Dave Kress and guitarist Jay Sherman in early 2012, A City Apart has taken on a new life and a more complex sound that seamlessly blends the alternative, emo, and post-prog genres with a post-hardcore twist.
