6 Second Crush was a Connecticut-based post-hardcore/screamo band formed in 2001 by singer Jonathan Whittaker and drummer John Micalizzi. Bassist Rich Massella and guitarist Anthony Lukac joined the band shortly afterward. The band quickly wrote and recorded a 3 song EP entitled "Everything Fades Away" at Planet of Sound Studios in Hartford, CT. Due to band infighting, Anthony Lukac left the band shortly after finishing the EP and Rich Massella left to join the band INK.
