4th Street formed in Newcastle, Australia in 2002 as a rock band called, AnaHatA. The band hit the ground running, headlining a local festival as their first gig. In late 2008 they changed their name to 4th Street along with a change in their overall sound adopting a heavier more melodic approach to their music. This proved to be a positive change.
