They were lucky. Somehow three individuals with lots of music, bands and attitude behind them met. Just wanting to play and with the high water mark of conservative radio/music/politics receding, their timing was ripe. Milwaukee was a hot bed of great bands, several clubs, music newspapers, and an independent radio station that glued all this together. 3 On Fire entered on the perfect storm.
