1,000 Year Flood is a power trio from Vancouver, WA. They joined together in late 2019 and solidified their bond through the Covid-19 pandemic. The band found initial common ground through parenthood, as each of the three members had a single son in second grade when they first met. They have jokingly embraced the "Dad Band" moniker, striving to make "Dad Rock" that is distinctive and original in the 21st century despite their older roots.
