Thanasis Papakonstantinou (Θανάσης Παπακωνσταντίνου), born in Tyrnavos, Greece on 26th April 1959, is a Greek singer and composer. He studied Mechanical Engineering in Thessaloniki, which he practised for a while before devoting himself exclusively to music. After military service, he had a spell of handcrafting traditional Greek musical instruments.
