Comprised of Gerry Beckley (September 12, 1952 - ), Dewey Bunnell (January 19,1952 - ), and Dan Peek (November 1, 1950 - July 24, 2011), they were seldom a favorite with critics, but were exceptionally successful commercially selling both singles and albums. Comments & Reviews:
I saw America at the SMSU Hammons Center in Springfield, Missouri on March 5, 1978. It wasn’t listed in concert list. I have my ticket stub.
Found the update and it is MISSING ON HERE

Something is clearly missing. The location of America is 1979, probably after August 1979. Place is PA, likely Scranton OR Wilkes Barre. I know 100% there was a concert of America - I SAW IT WITH 3 OTHER PEOPLE. We don't remember warm up, but we THINK it was Pure Prairie League with Amie, What You Gonna do. But it could have been Nitty Gritty - we just aren't sure, we thing PPL was the correct partner.
We cannot find this concert ANYWHERE! But WE KNOW IT HAPPENED in 1979. My first senior High School, and my second concert overall. It definitely happened.
