Aslan is a Celtic Rock band formed in Finglas, Ireland, a suburb of Dublin, in 1982. The band's founding members included Christy Dignam (lead singer), Joe Jewell (lead guitarist), Billy McGuinness (keyboardist, harmonicist, backup guitarist), Alan Downey (percussionist), and Tony McGuiness (bassist).
