Date:
Thursday, May 28, 1981
Venue:
Bonds
Location:
New York, New York, United States
Notes:

First show of like 15 played over a week. Place was oversold and the FDNY threatened to shut it down. Lee Scratch Perry DJed before. When they announced the opening act my friends and I flipped out: Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. We responded to call, the assholes from downtown threw cups and booed. When the Clash played "Magnificent Seven" Strummer said see you guys like rap.
