The J. Geils Band was an American music group from Worcester, Massachusetts, USA that had a successful blues-rock/R&B-influenced sound in the 1970s, before moving towards a more pop-influenced sound in the 1980s, which brought them MTV airplay and their 1982 international hit single "Centerfold".

Did the J Geils Band play with Peter Frampton at Kent State University
One user on this site says J. Geils band played at Fairfield University on Nov. 20, 1971, but others say the band was at Winterland SF on Nov. 19-20, 1971. Who's right? I can't find any further evidence to support either claim, such as posters or articles. Thanks.
