Love live shows. I've been to just over 60 shows in my brief time on this planet. Wouldn't trade any of those expierences. Wow it's been great seeing all of these great musicians/bands.

Judas Priest / Heaven Feb 2, 1983 (42 years ago) Pershing Auditorium (aka Pershing Center) Lincoln, Nebraska, United States
Screaming For Vengeance Tour This was a rescheduled concert from September of 1982. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Axe were to play Pershing, but the night before on the way to Lincoln from KC, they had problems with one of their trucks and had to postpone the concert. I wasn't mad because at that time, I had only heard You've Got Another Thing Comin', but wasn't a fan until I heard the rest of the new album. When Priest finally got here, Heaven opened for them and half the auditorium was closed off by a huge curtain as only about 3500 fans braved a nasty blizzard that had been going since the night before. I myself, was leaning up against a tower of speakers in the front row, stage right and my ears rang for a week and a half after the concert.

I recall driving from Omaha to see this. The interstate was closed but we took it anyway. Seven of us in a station wagon (dragon Wagon) could push us out of any trouble. I recall the bass being so deep it rattled my internal organs. Drove home on same closed interstate and even stopped at a rest area to party before heading home. A great night to be sure.
