The heavy psych space prog stoner doom jewel called Weedpecker from Warsaw, Poland has now also made a name for itself in Germany and stands for a mixture of dragging doom, psychedelic soundscapes, trippy prog rock, heavy riffs and the otherworldly double vocal harmonies of the two brothers Piotr and Bartek. Somewhere between Pink Floyd and Sleep, paired with angelic voices and YES-ish song structures. At the beginning of 2024, the band launched a crowdfunding campaign for their fifth album and went into the studio in April after successfully raising the funds.
