WoW. Now that's cool. :-) I'm from Vancouver, but never saw a show at Plaza of Nations. I did work in the kitchen at the Town Pump in '94 and '95 though, and Tool played one night while I was working. The stood 15 feet from me before hitting the stage. I got absolutely slammed. Never saw anything, but it sounded so damn good.

Here's the kicker though... for the life of me, I cannot find the date they played. The only date that pops up is this set at the Plaza of Nations. I've even seen video of it, so I know it's real before seeing your post here. What's more interesting, is that Maynard still had hair the night they played the Pump, but by the show in Santa Clara in November 1994 he's already bald. He also had 'FISH AND CHIPS' tattood across his shoulder blades, or at least what I thought was a tattoo. He didn't have it in Santa Clara. But he did have it in the London 1994 video, which was July. He didn't have it in the Plaza of Nations video in May, so I'm guessing he got a temporary tattoo, or a black Sharpie job done in London, then came back to Vancouver before travelling on to San Francisco in early November. But even Tool's own concert archives doesn't have a date listed. Their 1992 show at the Pump is listed though. I know what I saw, and what I heard... lol. This is frustrating. :-p

It's not the first time I've seen errors on dates at the Pump. Milla Jovovich played at night in October 1994, but it's listed as August 1994. I know for a fact it's October, as she was on the front cover of the November High Times, which I bought at Marc Emery's original Hemp BC bookstore, then sign by the editor of High Times who was at the shop that day, and he dated it October 1st, 1994. Magazines used to come out 1 month before the printed month. Then the next night I'm at work, the new monthly menus are out, with band names listed each night. I saw that Milla was booked. I wasn't working, so I brought the mag into the Pump to watch her soundcheck in the afternoon. Afterwords, I got her to autograph it. She was definitely there... lol. But even her own site lists it as August. :-p
