Hi there. I hope you don’t mind me saying but Van Halen actually performed on the Friday, 20th June, the night before Rush at De Montfort Hall. A close friend of mine was quite young and not well that weekend so his mother told him he could only go to one of the concerts. He chose the Rush gig where as we all went to see Van Halen who were spectacular live. It is possibly the most notable gig that I have been to whereas he was really disappointed with the Rush gig (said it was like paint drying … his words, not mine as I wasn’t there). We still tease him about it till this day. :)
