Melanie brought back the pink dress from the “Cry Baby” era that she debuted at the final North American leg show in Anaheim on 6/27/24, reusing it for the first time at this show. This marked the dress’s debut on the EU/UK leg and was the only time it appeared on this leg of the tour, making it the second time it had been worn overall.
During “Teacher’s Pet,” Melanie did not perform the usual floor choreography during the second pre-chorus. This marked the third time (including festivals) that she skipped the choreography. However, following this show, she completely stopped doing it for the remainder of the tour, unlike previous instances, which had been one-offs.
During the bridge of “LIGHT SHOWER,” Melanie grabbed a flower bouquet placed in front of her leech chair and began throwing flowers into the crowd. This was the first and only time she had done this throughout the entire tour.
During her closing speech, Melanie mentioned falling in love with the city of Barcelona and praised its beautiful architecture, saying, “Barcelona is absolutely my favorite city now.”
This was Melanie’s first-ever tour stop and performance in Barcelona, Spain.
Prior to the show, Melanie posted a couple of Instagram stories featuring popular monuments in Barcelona, including La Sagrada Familia and La Casa Batlló de Gaudí.
