Injured in a jet ski accident, James Hetfield did not perform at this show. Jason Newsted, and members of the other bands on the tour, filled in on vocals and performed some of their own songs during what would have been Metallica's headlining slot. Metallica, with Hetfield, returned to Atlanta for make-up performances on August 5th and 6th.
