Notes:

Record setting 8 band day!
First up was Hunny, playing at the small stage. Ava was tired so she sat in the back and I was right up front. Hunny was awesome. My only issue is that their songs start to sound alike after a while - so a 45 min set was perfect! great energy - 5/5
Then we walked over the tented venue for BabyJake - he was great! Very stones sounding rock and roll and great stage performance (including excellent clothes!). After the show Ava got to meet him and had a great time! 3.5/5
Then I went back to small stage for Phantom Planet - right up front again. They were fantastic! played my favorites and a lot of other great songs. Super energetic bass player. Loved the show - 5/5
Then back over to the tent for Reignwolf. Crazy show. Just a two man band with an amazing guitarist - lots of incredible jamming and tons of interaction with the (moshing) crowd. Got a bit much at times but overall really entertaining. Ava joined for second half - 4/5
Then waited around to be up front for the Regrettes. They were amazing. They have mixed their older surf-punk sound with a new poppier sound, and they now have a great repertoire of songs. Lead singer is incredible performer - super engaging. 5/5
At this point we had been standing all day and needed a break. so we got dinner and sat in the back to listen to CHVRCHES on the main stage. we could only see the screen, but it was still a fun show. Only about half their songs are good, but the singer was a fun performer - 3/5
then walked over to see King Gizzard & Lizard Wizard. Their first song was catchy but rest was pretty bad. We left after about 4 songs - 1/5
Then walked over to middle of main stage field to see Nine Inch Nails - close enough for me to see stage (and Ava to see screen!). They were interesting - the stage was very foggy and as a result you couldn't really see that well on the screen. Some of their songs were fantastic, others just noise. After about 45 min we had enough and left - fun to see their big songs, but overall not great - 2.5/5
