Day 1 of Shaky Knees was amazing Arrived during Motherfolks set and we listened to them from the back. they were suprisingly good and worth checking out - 2.5/5 Then managed to get right up front for Grandson - on the barrier behind VIP section. Grandson was completely amazing. Super high energy. Even climbed up the railing to the very top of the speaker stack, probably 75 feet off the ground. Only downside was that someone got hurt and he kindly stopped the concert for 10 min to allow help. Ava the EMT was impressed! We also got to chat with him for about 10 min after the show - Ava was so impressed that he knew me by name and said I was the coolest dad ever! 5/5 Highly Suspect was really good. Lead singer was very charismatic and had "Fuck Putin" written on his guitar. got a bit repetitive, not sure I would see them again - 3/5 Spoon was disappointing - great songs, but not very dynamic show - wouldn't see them - 2/5 Rainbow kitten surprise was very entertaining - trans lead singer in a glittery dress was great performer - don't love the sound, but did a lot with it - 2.5/5 Green total was totally epic. They literally throw a perfect concert. Great energy levels, fantastic lights/fire/confetti cannon, and outstanding crowd interaction - every single song included some shoutout to crowd or back and forth chant. They just so clearly loved being there and we loved them back. Ava said it was her best show ever - 5/5
