Melanie debuted a brand new pink dress for the "Cry Baby" era at this show. This was the only time she wore this dress throughout the entire tour, unlike other outfits that were reused throughout the tour.
This show marked the final appearance of the pink K-12 dress from the “K-12” era. It was used for the first 16 shows of the tour and then never worn again after this show.
During her closing speech, Melanie mentioned that playing at this venue was a “dream come true” for her, as she grew up in NYC. This was the only stop on the entire tour to feature two consecutive nights in the same venue and city due to overwhelming demand.
This the only stop of the entire tour to feature exclusive merch for a specific stop. The new items included a green t-shirt with a graphic of ‘The Creature,’ labeled with 'The Trilogy Tour, New York City, Madison Square Garden, 2024,' and a poster featuring a mushroom-filled apple representing “PORTALS,” a pink bus with 'Madison Square Garden' on it representing “K-12,” and a baby bottle with building blocks spelling out 'NYC,' representing “Cry Baby.”
These two shows made Melanie Martinez the second alternative artist to perform and sell out two consecutive nights at Madison Square Garden with night two on 6/6/24 being her highest grossing concert of all-time.
