Woodie Smalls / Jess Glynne Mar 25, 2016 (8 years ago) Botanique Brussels, Brussels Capital, Belgium
She can entertain people of all ages : I was 20 at the time, and I brought a friend who's +/- 50, we both fell in love with Glynne's show. Her singers were truly wonderful as well. This was the first time I ever saw Smalls perform (right before he became better known in Belgium and even performed at a Belgian award show) and it was hands down the best performance I've seen. The next time I saw him was at a little venue for students, with 'his buddy' (I don't even remember his name) and it wasn't such a good show: 1. 'his buddy' wasn't a positive addition to the show (he repeated some phrases or words, threw in a few 'yeahs' and if he sang a verse, I'm sorry being this honest, but it sucked), Smalls was always laughing with his buddy so sometimes failed to actually sing some parts and they only sang 'gangsta' songs (at Glynne's show he did some pure, raw and emotional songs of him as well, and he did them very good), he did not appear as professional as he did as support act for Glynne: it was a big deal opening for her and it was in 'his' Brussels. To sum up, this performance of him Will always been my favourite.
