"Foreigner" rehearsed for a couple of days before the '85 tour began at Albany Civic Center, where they shook off the rust of not having been on a major tour since '82. They did a complete show the night before (Friday, March 8th) and another Saturday morning, broke for lunch, decided not to do another run Saturday afternoon, and the official show was that evening, March 9th.
Acoustic Rock, Arena Rock, Classic Rock, Glam Metal, Hard Rock, Pop, Pop Rock, Rock, Soft Rock, Album Oriented Rock (AOR), and Mellow Gold.

I ran truss spot (backlight over the stage) for the rehearsals the day before and the day of, as well as the show the evening of March 9th, 1985. Best seat in the house! We even got paid when we got into position, but the band decided not to rehearse the afternoon of the show. Good times hanging out with the crew and band for a couple of days.
