Having had all of their gear stolen in the middle of the night, Sonic Youth had to borrow all of the equipment used for this show.
There were 4 stages at this festival; Main Stage 1 and 2, The Blue Cafe Stage, and a final unknown stage. The main stages were side by side on the field so it was very easy to catch all the main acts. Below were the scheduled showtimes taken from a 7/1/1999 printout of Goldenvoice's website at the time. The Promise Ring and hovercraft were added sometime between 7/1 and 7/4. Dr. Octagon was supposed to headline Stage 4, but Kool Keith apparently canceled his appearance and Dan the Automator did a solo set (not listed in the lineup schedule)
