Neil Young announces he's quitting the band, forcing them to cancel this appearance. Fever Tree replaces them on the bill
The Kaleidoscope finally found a home at the old Earl Carroll Theater on Sunset Strip. The place had rotating stages and risers that were perfect for "go go" dancers. Another venue that gave off the feel of old Hollywood with an entry that made you feel like you were really part of Hollywood history. I loved the different levels in the place and the glam feel. Some of my favorite shows were there.
