The beginning of the Kaleidoscope shows before the Earl Carroll Theater became the Kaleidoscope. This was the second of such shows. The first was over on Wilshire at the Ambassador Hotel. With the Airplane and the Dead. These shows were like going to a rave. The venues were almost word of mouth before they decided where the show would be.
