The Reefers were a short-lived 60's rock band based out of Hamilton, Ontario. This single was their only release and features Jerry Doucette of "Mama Let Him Play" fame.

The band's original five-piece lineup consisted of McGuinn (lead guitar, vocals), Gene Clark (tambourine, vocals), David Crosby (rhythm guitar, vocals), Chris Hillman (bass guitar, vocals), and Michael Clarke (drums).[13] By 1966, Clark had left due to problems associated with anxiety and his increasing isolation within the group.[14] The Byrds continued as a quartet until late 1967.
