August 21: The BYRDS/ MC5/ JF Murphy @ Hofstra What a strange placement of THE FIVE but hey I’m ready for anything. JF MURPHY and FREE FLOWING SALT up first, then THE FIVE rocked the place so hard, the air so hot and heavy that the arena (garage type)doors were thrown open to save us from dying inside. We sat off in the corner until 8 MILES HIGH ended it all.
