Exact date in July 1981 unknown. This was at a bookstore where these two members of Monty Python were doing a book signing for their "Time Bandits" screenplay.

And, obviously, I also went to Abbey Road Studios (not renamed that at the time) to walk across the famous "Abbey Road" zebra crossing (before city authorities moved the actual crossing some feet/meters away sometime later).
I also went to Liverpool and checked out all The Beatles' landmarks that summer. What a joy! This was just a few months after John had been killed, and there was "We Love John" graffiti all over the place.
My friend Carl and I spent six weeks traveling throughout Europe the summer of 1981. I stood in line and got an autographed copy of their book that I still have to this day. (I also stood by the NBC "Today" TV stand to witness Prince Charles and Lady Diana walk out on the Buckingham Palace Balcony.)
