*11:30PM SHOW* My first time seeing Queen. I had been into Queen since their first album. This was their Sheer Heart Attack tour. In 1975, the masses still didn’t know who Queen were. I had been waiting for them for about two years now, and I wasn’t disappointed. They were fuckin’ hot. By this time I was buying my tickets via the USPS directly to the Santa Monica Civic box office, where I always ordered first row balcony center seats. In my opinion, they were the best seats in the house. By this time the SMCA was just known as the “Civic”.
