Some industry guy tried to pick up my friend and eye, by promising to introduce us to the band. He bought us a couple of Beck's lagers. I yelled "It's George Burns' Birthday" he would be 100. Bob announced "happy birthday!" Pavement were dressed in military surplus they picked up on Santa Monica Blvd. In the late 90's there was a bootleg cassette of this show someone on some board claimed to have, but as far as I know it never surfaced.
