Pianist and musical director Damien Sneed, soprano Jacqueline Echols, baritone Justin Austin and the Griot string quartet will offer a powerful evening of music. Performing opera, art song, spirituals and jazz, these world-class black artists will pay homage to Marian Anderson and Jessye Norman who were at the vanguard of black classical singers.
