Memorable night! Intense rain and lightning bolts over the Forum. After the show went home, loaded car and took off for Mammoth. Ram Charger with 6 people. Our surf rack with ski’s blew off as soon as we got on 395 so all of our ski’s were inside the car. Did a 450 degree spin went a bit off the road. Hit a patch of black ice halfway there at 70 with cruise control on! Not fun! I’m an experienced snow driver so didn’t panic. After initial spin I Turned into slide and brought the car around 5 times and slowed enough that we barely went off the road. If we had rolled it would have been fatalities for sure! At least my least show would have been a great show by Queen!
